Generating a new SSH Key for use with NX
- Login as root
- Open a new console session
- Execute the following command:
/usr/NX/scripts/setup/nxserver --keygen
- This will produce the following output:
NX> 718 Cannot stop NX statistics: NX> 709 NX statistics are disabled for this server. NX> 704 Starting: server-keygen operation at: Tue Aug 15 16:52:35 2006. NX> 704 Generating new ssh-keys. This can take a while. NX> 704 Keys generated correctly. Backuping files. NX> 704 Keys backuped correctly. Updating files. NX> 704 Keys updated.. NX> 723 Cannot start NX statistics: NX> 709 NX statistics are disabled for this server. NX> 704 The NX clients should now use the key:. NX> 704 /usr/NX/share/keys/default.id_dsa.key to get connected to this NX server.
- Insert USB drive
- Open two Konqueror windows
- Drag the 3 files in /usr/NX/share/keys/ to the corresponding customer's folder in Licenses & Keys on the USB drive

Installing the Linhash Service
- At a Konsole, type service lh3srvc stop or service lh3lite stop
- Open a Konqueror window to the USB drive, media:/sdc1/Licenses & Keys/(account)/lh3srvcd 3.0.0.2 ...
- Open a Konqueror window to /usr/sbin/
- drag the account's stamped lh3srvcd or lh3lited engine to /usr/sbin/
- close the Konqueror windows, and type service lh3srvc start or service lh3lite start

Linhash Service Initial Setup
- Select System + Services from the F menu
- Click on a service to manage, UD3 or UD3lite
- From the Actions menu, choose: Add, Delete, Start, Stop, or Restart the selected service
- Choose File + Save Changes from the menu when finished

Configuring a D-Link Print Server

Connect the print server
- Plug the print server in and connect it to the LAN
- From a Windows(tm) workstation on the LAN, choose START + My Network Places
- Click on Show icons for networked UPnP devices under Network Tasks
- Double-Click on the print server icon when it appears

Configure the print server names
- Click the Configuration tab on the D-Link browser page
- Click the System button on the Configuration tab page
- Set the Print Server name (_________________________) (default to WARESprinter)
- Set LPT1 port name to LPT1
- Set LPT2 port name to LPT2
- Set USB port name to USB
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page

Configure the print server networking
- Click the Configuration tab on the D-Link page
- Click the Network button the the Configuration tab page
- At IP Address, click Manually Assign
- Set the IP Address: _____._____._____._____ (default to 192.168.2.253)
- Set the Gateway Address: _____._____._____._____ (default to 192.168.2.1)
- Set the DNS-1 Address: _____._____._____._____ (default to 192.168.2.1)
- Enter the WorkGroup name (____________________) (default to ATLASWARES)
- If using remote printing, enter IPP information (IPP:nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn:910x/LPTn)
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page

Addressing Printers over TCP/IP
(The following methods of addressing printers in a TCP/IP environment are not supported by Windows for Workgroups.)
- by server name: ipp://WaresServer:631/printers/PagePrinter
- internet printing protocol: ipp://192.168.2.253:9100
